Tuesday September 4, The Winneshiek Board of Supervisors proclaimed September to be United Way month in support of the work of the agencies who provide needed services countywide. The proclamation notes the United Way is an effective, efficient, and local way to help the entire community with crisis and long term needs of children, older citizens, needy individuals, and families. This makes our area a better place for all to live and work.
